Giotto and the Bardi chapel restoration

This restoration project aims to protect an extraordinary work by Giotto: the "Stories of St. Francis" frescoed at the beginning of the 14th century for the Bardi chapel in Santa Croce. The restoration is made possible thanks to the collaboration between Opera di Santa Croce and Opificio delle Pietre Dure, with the fundamental support of Fondazione CR Firenze and with the contribution of ARPAI.
