This fundraising campaign is entirely focused on saving an extraordinary work of art of Giotto with his superb painting and narration of the Stories of St. Francis, carried out by the artist for the Bardi chapel in Santa Croce. This world renown work of art is an authentic expression of the historical, cultural and spiritual legacy of Santa Croce.

Through the restoration of the cycle of frescoes, we have an exceptional opportunity to rediscover the magnificence and communicative strength of Giotto and his eloquent storytelling of the life and times of Saint Francis of Assisi. We can even discover the secrets and technique of the work carried out by the artist inside one of the greatest Franciscan basilicas in the world.
