An authors shot for the Santa Croce Opera
The Basilica of Santa Croce today welcomed the Eucharistic celebration that concluded the international Forum of Bishops and Mayors from various Mediterranean cities, committed to the search of a common peace frontier. A truly extraordinary meeting, chaired by the president of the Italian Episcopal Conference Gualtiero Bassetti, which also saw the participation of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
To underline and add value to today’s event the Santa Croce Opera, thanks to its invaluable collaboration with the photographer Massimo Sestini, decided to promote the execution of several bespoke shots to hence commemorate this extraordinary moment. An initiative that confirms the role of the monumental complex as a place of dialogue for art and artists, a crossroad of memory and contemporaneity.
