Concert on music by Giacomo Puccini

An evening dedicated to the music of Giacomo Puccini which will be held in the Basilica of Santa Croce on Thursday 13 June at 9pm.
Under the direction of maestro Giuseppe Lanzetta, the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, supported by the Chorale Santa Cecilia of Empoli and the Chorale Santa Cecilia of Borgo San Lorenzo, will perform the Messa di Gloria for baritone tenor and orchestra, an early composition by Giacomo Puccini and a of the master's rare sacred compositions.
The concert is organized by the Opera di Santa Croce in collaboration with the Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Giacomo Puccini and is part of the orchestra's 44th concert season.
