Journalists planning to visit Santa Croce in order to write an article on the monumental complex may request accreditation allowing them to access the complex free of charge. In order to obtain accreditation, journalists will need a valid journalists' union membership card (or equivalent Press Card, for foreign journalists) and a letter of presentation from the media source for which the article is being written. Applications should be addressed at least seven days in advance of the date planned for the visit to comunicazione@santacroceopera.it, attaching the accreditation form filled out with all the required information. Press accreditation cannot be extended to family members or companions, and does not constitute authorisation to take professional photographs or film, for which a separate application must me submitted. 

Professional photography, reportage, documentaries, interviews and filming are allowed inside the monumental complex. Application for the appropriate permit should be addressed at least fifteen days in advance of the date planned for the visit to comunicazione@santacroceopera.it, attaching the authorisation form filled out with all the required information. Photography, filming etc. are strictly prohibited while religious services are being held, and should be planned in such a way that they are compatible with the requirements of a complex open to the general public, in full compliance with and observance of the regulations governing the protection and conservation of the complex and always under the supervision of an Opera di Santa Croce press officer. The nature of the photography or film may entail the payment of a financial contribution to cover management costs and image rights.
